2.Medical Service
Students can seek for medication at any other modern polyclinics & hospitals around TNU if necessary. A Ping’an Overall Insurance Policy for People Coming to China covers every long-term student registered at TNU on a complimentary basis from 2006.

3.Security Service
The social security in Tianjin is stable, therefore, it is safe and secure to study here. However, students should also be aware of the importance of security. If in trouble, please call Int’l students’ Office directly and report the incident to the officer in charge. |

4.Living Facilities
 4.1 Telephone Access Service
Phone set is available in each room of student’s residence. Phone calls are accessible only by using 201 phone cards available at the reception desk in Block A and Block B. Prepaid card-phones are available in rooms of the Gold Bridge International Hotel (GBIH). The prepaid phone card is purchasable from the Business Centre (on the second floor of GBIH). Moreover, IP phone card (Internet Protocol Card) can be used to make international phone calls cheaper in comparison to calls based on conventional methods.
4.2 Internet Access Service
Internet access is available in each room of GBIH & BBR. Please inquire at the business centre for Internet access availability. An Internet access centre is also open on the ninth floor of GBIH. The Internet access port is unavailable at BAR. However, an Internet access room is serviced for students on the second floor of BAR.
4.3 Ticket Service
The business centre in GBIH offers railway tickets and air tickets booking services.
4.4 Postal Service
Some postal services like letters, parcels and Western Union Money Transfer etc. are available for students at the Balitai Post Office.
4.5. Airport-meet Service
An airport-meet service is provided to students who come to Tianjin for the first time. Flight numbers and arrival times should be communicated as early as possible in order to reserve place on this service. A fee for transport will be charged on a distance basis at 80 RMB from Tianjin Airport and 600 RMB from Beijing Capital Airport. |
